npi ops manager is the operation representative within the core team from the design phase of the project until the stabilization of mass production.

? you interact as new product introduction (npi) manager with all necessary teams of manufacturing partners to effectively and efficiently push for the manufacturing readiness and e_ecution of all build at factory (factory go round, pilot) up to mass production.

? you plan the schedule and milestones with core team and the concerned industrialization partner in alignment with the overall program plan and put the right level of measures/actions/resources depending on comple_ity/criticity of the program.

? you size needed production capacity at mechanical vendors and at factory and make sure that the set up will be done on time vs program requirement.

? you make sure that df_ findings are implemented at the right time to secure efficient manufacturing and quality.

? you plan and verify adequate material/component management at every stage of npi process (fgr, pilot, mass production ramp-up).

? you ensure the key project milestones are met and emerging issues are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner by influencing all needed internal or e_ternal stakeholders providing understandable, accurate and reliable information with options for decision.

? you own and support the npi process by striving for continuous improvement keeping in mind cost and yield optimizations, identifying and driving cost containment/reduction opportunities and driving the use of quality insurance tools and tests to ensure continuous quality improvement.

? you are recognized by internal and e_ternal customers and suppliers as a trustable operation e_pert through your activities and ultimately develop a valuable informal network with all parties.

? you provide inputs on performance that will influence decisions to select manufacturing partners during new program initiation phases.

? you identify training needs and develop training plan on npi process to core team members and manufacturing partner(s) to ensure to build up and strengthen npi capability within the company and with the vendors.

? you collect all documentation on the program to secure efficient handover with site manager when mass production is mature and stable with optimized yield.

candidate’s profile:

education: bachelors degree in engineering.

e_perience: + 10 years’ e_perience

language: english is mandatory- fluent in other languages a plus.

recommended technical knowledge:

? you are an industrial engineer with several years of e_perience ideally in a plant and/or with industrial asian partners and have a depth technical knowledge in manufacturing and factory organization.

? you have a good knowledge on hw, sw, mechanics, supply chain processes, logistics, quality, environmental.

? you have a good knowledge on systems (agile, mrp, collaboration tools…).

? you react with agility to unplanned events - trigger/track action plans.

? you identify and track issues to closure.

? you challenge r&d and factory for optimization of process.

? you adapt your practices to regional specificities for better cooperation/coordination with others

? you coordinate team work and you are able to bring a cross-functional team together towards a common goal.

? you are comfortable in cooperating daily in projects with different r&d and business teams.
